Furness RAM elevate Steve

The latest recruit to Furness RAM No 375 is Steve Ellershaw. Steve is the present Worshipful Master of Jubilee Mark Lodge No 375 and finds himself in the position of being head man in one order and a mere deckhand in the other.

The ceremony was undertaken by Worshipful Commander Harry Kilgour. Harry’s work was well delivered and accurate. It was a pleasure to observe.

However, Harry did not act in isolation as Geff Waters stepped forward to explain the signs and Alan Jones presented the working tools. Both played their part well.

Senior deacon Dave Baker conducted Steve throughout the ceremony in a confident and obviously well-rehearsed manner. Former sub-mariner Dave can reflect on a job well done. He was ably supported by junior deacon Steve Renney.

Acting as guardian on the evening was Peter Quirk. Peter had proposed Steve into the order and it was rather appropriate that he was the person who first addressed him on his entry to the lodge.

A very popular and committed freemason Steve will prove an excellent addition to the crew at Furnes RAM.
